Slim's Owners Boz Scaggs and Frank Caufield toasting the crowd at wednesdays' 20th Anniversary celebration.
Yesterday marked the 20th anniversary of this south of Market night spot, so it was time to party. And who better to liven up a crowd then the great Boz Scaggs himself. Boz was in fine voice, and his band and backup singers provided the perfect vibe for the 400 people that were in a festive mood.

Frank took time out from his duties as chairman of Time-Warner to make an appearance. When I left at 10pm the complimentary champagn was flowing freely.
A hearty congratulations to Boz, Frank, and the staff at Slims. And here's to twenty more years. :)
